The Tacoma Narrows Bridge Project Ends July 2007

Troy's job of 4 years on the bridge ended. Woohoo! Yes, it was in July but, I'm still happy about it. No more phone calls in the middle of the night of being stuck on a road section in 60 mile per hour winds and only having to hide in an outhouse for shelter. How the news and newspaper found out about it I don't know. But, it was the worse night of my life, wondering what was going to happen.

Needless to say I am happy my husband is all done with that job! No more walking up the cat walk & hanging 500 feet above the water everyday. (Hmmm could be why he needs knee surgery now).

I have a rule in my house...He doesn't tell me about his job! Unless of course we get together with friends and they ask him about his job...I have to plug my ears.

So, since he's done with that job he is now in Seattle working on a building there and he only has to walk up the crane and make sure everything is working properly every once in a while ;)

Troy gets on the news!

Troy tells of his many stories of working on the Bridge to a journalist for an upcoming story about the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. (He's in the grey shirt on the top left)
We had no idea who it was or what they were doing, we were just excited for him!

The children are beat....this is the end of the two mile walk.

Kyra, Ethan and Landon got to cut the ribbon at the Tacoma Narrows Bridge!

Yes, everyone else got to too ;)

Troy explains his work!

I'm so proud!
