Hey you Twilight fans! :) I bet you can geuss what's on Machaella and my minds (mostly mine)! Twilight is coming out in 3 days! If you go to Stephanie Meyers web site it actually tells the exact time down to the seconds as to when it comes out. I'm so excited!! As are my friends and their girls! It'll be awesome! Yes, we will be going to the midnight showing..and yes, I know my daughter is only 14 but, she is such a good girl she will even be at school the next day :)
So, needless to say that is what's going on with me right now.
My children are all keeping themselves busy. Landon is so ready for school to start even though he starts next year. Kyra is still doing piano and may just skip a year of basketball...I know I know, how dare her skip basketball. She does very well in school and is in the fourth grade. And knows how to spell better than the bees. She likes to stand out as more than average and boy is she so independant. And she's only 9. Yes, it drives a mom crazy ;)
Ethan is wrestling again. He's on the varsity team. He's in 5th grade and again is very good at school. Let's just hope they continue to enjoy school as much as they do now.
Colby is in 8th grade this year. He may play football this year. He's just like his father and loves cars and probably knows every make and model.
Machaella is in 9th this year and has really let her mother down by not taking advantage of her 5'8" height and play basketball. She does not like to be the center of attention is the reason why she says. I'm hoping the coach at the high school will keep bugging her and than she'll do it. I'll keep you informed. She is definately a joy to have around with so much energy to share. She keeps me on my toes.
Dion just finished football. I hate it when it ends..it's so fun to watch.
He is now doing basketball. His second favorite. He is dating...ugh! And I have figured out that I think I will be the one at the door step with a gun in my hand waiting up for him to come home. In other words I'm very protective of my children - especially when it comes to the opposite sex. I do have to remind my children that we do have a great great grandma named "Kills em all" The blackfeet Indians were really mean. Now everyone know where I get my mean streak from. :)
Troy is the nice one :)
As for Troy he is still working in Seattle. I think it's so humurous that Troy can be 500 feet in the air on a building but hates to go on our roof...funny. He is doing good though.
I have to tell you about our class we went to last week. It's a marriage family class offered by the stake. We played a game called the Cellestial Marriage game (awesome game). The men are asked a question and you and your spouse receive a point if you both get the correct answer. The men were to answer this question and I was to match it. The quesion was..Men if your wife were to say the one thing she likes most about you what would it be? I thought in my head (butt) and then I wrote "hard worker". I didn't want him to think I only love him for his body. Then we looked at each other's paper and we definately could have won...if I had said "butt". His answer was butt. Boy that man, I guess he does think I only like him for his body. I personally think he's a hard worker though :)
Well, there you go that is our family. Did I miss anyone??
I hope all is well with everyone. I will write again another time.
As time of being thankful I am very thankful for your love and friendship thoughout the years!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! And don't start the oven on fire like I do :)

Dion Homecoming!
10.01.2008

Dion's year of Football!
I can't say enough about Dion and his football! I wish you could see him play. He's awesome! He's playing defensive end and tight end and full back. He just walked in the room and told me...don't ask me tomorrow. I am so bad at remembering football..ask me about basketball.
We were at the home game the other Friday night and the student crowd was chanting his name and the official accidentally called him Dion Branch..it was pretty cool!

Dion's blessing :)
Double trouble!
Hmmmm what should I do?
The last time we had a party here I held all the tokens in little baggies for the children. Well, sometimes it gets confusing, hello. Well, I gave Dion accidentally all Kyra's tokens. Dion knows how to get a lot of tickets with the tokens. He got a lot of tickets for the tokens but gave them up to Kyra after he found out they were hers.
Well, this time I gave Dion Machaella's tokens accidentally. And he got a lot of tickets. And was not happy this time that he had to give up the tickets because he was playing for this marshmellow gun, in which you need 800 tickets for. Next thing I know is he gives all the tickets to Machaella and he says he only had 400 or so tickets and couldnt' get his gun anyways.
Well Dion walks over to where uncle Lyle is playing this Hollywood jackpot thingy with one token at a time to see if you can get a jackpot. Well, uncle Lyle gives Dion one token and Dion gets a jackpot! Guess how many tickets he gets? 1300 tickets! Now this just shows how much a wonderful young man Dion is. He spends the 800 on his gun, and gives the rest to Talon for his birthday :)
Yes, I'm so proud :)
Dion's such a nice brother to teach Landon how to golf :)
He has to learn to drive somewhere :)
Landon wanted this little kiddie ride to do something other than just go around in circles. Half way through the ride he started moving and shaking the seat and just couldn't sit still. I think he wants to be much older than he is. He already says he's four. He swears I'm lying when I tell him he's three. :) He's so cute though, isn't he! :)Talon's Birthday Party

Dad's day at the Drags!

Yes, Troy has finally had his dream come true of being in the drag races at Pacific Raceways in Auburn. His trek started out Sat morning about 7am with Colby by his side. He had to drive the back roads so it took him a while to get there..losing a piece of exhaust along the way. In which he left along side the road because he was to imbarrassed to pick it up :)
He raced four times. This is the fifth time racing in which he lost :(
But, it doesn't matter....because Troy had the time of his life! With his family watching from the sidelines :)

Kyra Girl!

Kyra played basketball this year...I'm sooo proud :) Guess who coached? Oh, so much fun!
See how tall she is! Soooo Awesome she's playing basketball! Ok Ok I like basketball, I'll move on.
Kyra is into Hannah Montana right now and all Disney chanel shows that she can watch, she'd watch all day if I let her. She is hounding me to audition for those shows. Hmmmm, don't think that's going to happen.
She is so outgoing and energetic...she never stops.
She loves playing with her friends every chance she gets. There are 9 girls in the 10 year old class at church and one boy. Guess who the boy is...yes, Ethan. Poor guy! It's good him and Kyra get along so well. They've known each other since they were 2 and 3 I would think they would.
She is such a joy to have around :)

Machaella's new pictures!

Machaella is getting ready for the dance festival in July. She enjoys spending time with friends, riding motorcycles and playing with their little children. I would pick Machaella as being the one in the family that will give me the most grandchildren (in a loooong time that is :)
She has so much energy! She is non stop. And at 13 she knows what she wants. I thought that started at age 17?
And as you can tell she is turning out to be a beautiful young lady. She will always be my little vibrant girl.
