Dion's blessing :)

Double trouble!

Hmmmm what should I do?

The last time we had a party here I held all the tokens in little baggies for the children. Well, sometimes it gets confusing, hello. Well, I gave Dion accidentally all Kyra's tokens. Dion knows how to get a lot of tickets with the tokens. He got a lot of tickets for the tokens but gave them up to Kyra after he found out they were hers.

Well, this time I gave Dion Machaella's tokens accidentally. And he got a lot of tickets. And was not happy this time that he had to give up the tickets because he was playing for this marshmellow gun, in which you need 800 tickets for. Next thing I know is he gives all the tickets to Machaella and he says he only had 400 or so tickets and couldnt' get his gun anyways.

Well Dion walks over to where uncle Lyle is playing this Hollywood jackpot thingy with one token at a time to see if you can get a jackpot. Well, uncle Lyle gives Dion one token and Dion gets a jackpot! Guess how many tickets he gets? 1300 tickets! Now this just shows how much a wonderful young man Dion is. He spends the 800 on his gun, and gives the rest to Talon for his birthday :)

Yes, I'm so proud :)

Dion's such a nice brother to teach Landon how to golf :)
He has to learn to drive somewhere :)
Landon wanted this little kiddie ride to do something other than just go around in circles. Half way through the ride he started moving and shaking the seat and just couldn't sit still. I think he wants to be much older than he is. He already says he's four. He swears I'm lying when I tell him he's three. :) He's so cute though, isn't he! :)
Kyra and Ethan are such buds!

Machaella was so nice to go with Landon on the kiddie plane ride :)

Talon's Birthday Party

Talon had such a great time, as did all the children! Troy was at the drags so he wasn't able to attend along with Colby. But, all and all it was a fun day!
Landon loved riding the motorcycle!

The girls look a little but happier than the boys in this picture...oh, not because of the race or car but, I think it may because they're getting their picture taken. :)

Look at the boys just chilin' :)

Colby loves cars and the drags, so much like his father :)

Dad's day at the Drags!

Yes, Troy has finally had his dream come true of being in the drag races at Pacific Raceways in Auburn. His trek started out Sat morning about 7am with Colby by his side. He had to drive the back roads so it took him a while to get there..losing a piece of exhaust along the way. In which he left along side the road because he was to imbarrassed to pick it up :)
He raced four times. This is the fifth time racing in which he lost :(
But, it doesn't matter....because Troy had the time of his life! With his family watching from the sidelines :)

Saturday at the Drags!

This is dad's day!!

Kyra Girl!

Kyra played basketball this year...I'm sooo proud :) Guess who coached? Oh, so much fun!

See how tall she is! Soooo Awesome she's playing basketball! Ok Ok I like basketball, I'll move on.

Kyra is into Hannah Montana right now and all Disney chanel shows that she can watch, she'd watch all day if I let her. She is hounding me to audition for those shows. Hmmmm, don't think that's going to happen.
She is so outgoing and energetic...she never stops.

She loves playing with her friends every chance she gets. There are 9 girls in the 10 year old class at church and one boy. Guess who the boy is...yes, Ethan. Poor guy! It's good him and Kyra get along so well. They've known each other since they were 2 and 3 I would think they would.

She is such a joy to have around :)

Machaella's new pictures!

Machaella is getting ready for the dance festival in July. She enjoys spending time with friends, riding motorcycles and playing with their little children. I would pick Machaella as being the one in the family that will give me the most grandchildren (in a loooong time that is :)
She has so much energy! She is non stop. And at 13 she knows what she wants. I thought that started at age 17?
And as you can tell she is turning out to be a beautiful young lady. She will always be my little vibrant girl.

The big "D" played football this year again. He's such a great football player! He played basketball and is doing track right now.

Oh, and he cut his hair...finally after this picture was taken :)

The Tacoma Narrows Bridge Project Ends July 2007

Troy's job of 4 years on the bridge ended. Woohoo! Yes, it was in July but, I'm still happy about it. No more phone calls in the middle of the night of being stuck on a road section in 60 mile per hour winds and only having to hide in an outhouse for shelter. How the news and newspaper found out about it I don't know. But, it was the worse night of my life, wondering what was going to happen.

Needless to say I am happy my husband is all done with that job! No more walking up the cat walk & hanging 500 feet above the water everyday. (Hmmm could be why he needs knee surgery now).

I have a rule in my house...He doesn't tell me about his job! Unless of course we get together with friends and they ask him about his job...I have to plug my ears.

So, since he's done with that job he is now in Seattle working on a building there and he only has to walk up the crane and make sure everything is working properly every once in a while ;)

Troy gets on the news!

Troy tells of his many stories of working on the Bridge to a journalist for an upcoming story about the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. (He's in the grey shirt on the top left)
We had no idea who it was or what they were doing, we were just excited for him!

The children are beat....this is the end of the two mile walk.

Kyra, Ethan and Landon got to cut the ribbon at the Tacoma Narrows Bridge!

Yes, everyone else got to too ;)

Troy explains his work!

I'm so proud!
